Making Contact

Our service to you starts from the moment you contact us, whether by telephone 02392 641366 or by calling personally, (our address is at the bottom of this page). On your initial contact we will ask you for preliminary details, once the Doctor has given his permission we can then take your loved one to our Chapel of Rest where we can care for them. You can of course visit when ever you wish, all we ask is you make an appointment so we can keep the Chapel of Rest private for each family.

If the Coroner has to be contacted do not be alarmed as this is usually because the Doctor is not totally sure of the cause of death. It will give you peace of mind once you know what the cause was.

We will advise you at the time and keep you fully informed every step of the way.

If your loved one passes away at home and the Doctor has to call the Coroner, the Police will arrive at your home, please do not be alarmed they are acting on behalf of the Coroner, your loved one will be taken to the local Hospital. A contract Funeral Director will be called to carry out the transportation. You do not have to have that Funeral Director, if you would prefer, inform the Police that you want Moore's Traditional Funeral Directors to attend and they will contact us so we can carry out your wishes.
